Below is a list of the courses I am currently offering. Each course is eligible for continuing education units (CEU's) with the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists.
Ethics, Boundaries, and Communication in Mind Body Healing
4 Ethics CEU's
Saturday March 28, 2026 -- 9am-1pm ($95)
This class will be interactive and taught ONLINE via webcam
Can tension in the mind influence tension in the body? Why does pain go away, just to come back again a few days later? What is "Trauma-Informed Care," and how can we implement it into our massage practice? This course explores the science behind how mood, emotions, and past experiences influence our experience of pain. Further, we will discuss the ethical concerns which may arise with clients, while learning boundaries and communication skills in order to stay within our scope of practice as Licensed Massage Therapists. This course touches upon hands-on applications, and is a great introduction to the Thai Massage courses.
Thai Massage Courses
This series of courses is intended to give students the skills and confidence to comfortably provide a safe and effective Thai massage treatment to their clients.
Do you practice Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, or other Western modalities? Congratulations! You know Thai massage! The fact is, many techniques you are already doing have origins in Eastern bodywork. Rather than attempt to teach you a sequence, let me translate much of what you already do, just safely on the floor. And of course, teach you a few new things 
.
The series is broken up into 5 classes -- Treating stress and tension in the lower body (x2), Treating stress and tension in the upper body (x2), and Putting it all together. Students will learn to feel confident in being able to assess and treat common musculoskeletal conditions with Thai massage. Students will be able to give treatments up to 2 hours in length. Trauma-informed care through the lense of Buddhist medical theory will also be presented.
Take the first 4 courses in any order you like! After at least 3 of the 4 courses have been completed, you may sign up for "Putting it All Together"
